Cargolux is an integrated airfreight transportation company. It started operations from Luxembourg in 1970 with Canadair CL-44 freighters. Today, after more than 36 years in the business, Cargolux is one of the leading suppliers of high-quality, worldwide scheduled and charter air cargo services, using 15 B747-400 freighter and 20 trucking contractors, to move valuable and time-sensitive commodities between 91 destinations, 49 serviced by aircraft and 42 by truck. Cargolux shareholders are Luxair (34,9%), SAirLogistics (33,7%), Luxembourg financial corporations (31,1%) and others (0,3%). The company ranks tenth worldwide, measured in tonne-kilometers flown. At European level, Cargolux is currently the largest all-cargo airline.
